The ‘Acts’ series entangles photography and performance in a methodology that activates ecological sites as spaces for play, exploration, and human/nature communion. Long exposures capture the artist's direct engagement with organic spaces and entities, dissolving long established binaries by entangling human and nonhuman entities.  These images ask the viewer for extended attention and slow viewing, where faint traces of the artist unveil themselves gradually over examination of these works. This viewing exercise mirrors the patience, slowing of time, and giving of oneself central to the performative creative process of the work.
